The warranty period begins at the date of shipment from Takara Belmont or warehouse. Takara Belmont USA products are warranted for a period of the following:

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The guarantee applies only to shop or salon originally purchasing from Takara Belmont or authorized Takara Belmont Dealer. We distribute other manufacturers’ products, and their warranties would apply. Some exceptions may apply. Please sign shipping documents and note any visible damage, including taking photographs of the damage where possible. In the event purchaser needs help diagnosing or reviewing problems with any Takara Belmont equipment, regardless of cause, please send email to “beautysupport@takarabelmont.com” to request for warranty, out-of-warranty, or repair parts. Takara Belmont has the right to request photographs or other objective evidence in determining warranty application.

Any unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at the purchaser’s expense. Warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This warranty covers replacement-repair parts, not labor. All shipping and handling charges – including courier charges- related to the warranted item shall be the responsibility of the final purchaser. Warranty is limited solely to repair, replacement, credit, or refund of the original purchase price of the product. Warranty shall not come into effect and Takara Belmont will have no obligations under this warranty, unless and until Takara Belmont and its distributors are PAID in FULL for the products to be warranted hereunder. Purchaser understands that no cash refunds will be made, and Takara Belmont and its distributors are not responsible for any labor costs associated with replacement.

Takara Belmont and its distributors will have no further obligations or liability for damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the product, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury and/or economic losses. Purchaser must observe and comply with all applicable law regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by law. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase. Any implied extended warranties or altered warranties must be done by written binding contract of both parties (seller and buyer).

In a constantly changing economy, improvements are continually being made and we reserve the right to make changes, without liability, to match pieces of furniture or equipment previously purchased. Specifications are subject to change without notice. Takara Belmont reserves the right to replace any discontinued item with a like or similar item.

Takara Belmont reserves the right to limit the number of years’ service parts are available. Warranty replacement parts are guaranteed for original warranty term. Any applicable implied warranties including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby limited in duration to the warranty periods for the product. (IN NO EVENT SHALL TAKARA BELMONT AND ITS DISTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE BREACH OF ANY IMPLIED OR EXPRESS WARRANTIES. TAKARA BELMONT DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.)

All reconditioned, open box and showroom samples sold “as is” are not covered under warranty.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Warranty only applies to products purchased from Takara Belmont and used in United States or Canada, all items shipped and used outside of United States and Canada will void the warranty. All electrical and plumbing related products will have to be installed by a licensed personal in their field, failure to do so will result in the warranty being voided. Documentation will be required and provided to Takara Belmont for all plumbing and electrical related warranty issues.

In addition, all items that are to be affixed to a permanent structure (i.e., wall arm) must be done so by a licensed professional contractor. A licensed personal must service all equipment still under warranty. Failure to do so will result in the warranty being voided. Takara Belmont’s warranty does NOT apply to defect in parts due to actions of persons or entities other than Takara Belmont or damages incurred due to transportation of goods, F. O. B. shipping point. Because commercial standards allow color variation over which the Company has no control, this warranty does not extend to color, grain, or texture.

Fabrics are not warranted against fading, staining, soiling, crushing or wear, all of which are predominately influenced by user-created environment and user care to which the product is exposed in use. Petroleum-based cleaning solvents are harmful to fabrics and their use will void the warranty. Consumable items such as base rings, spray hoses, pedal covers are not warrantied. Takara Belmont’s warranty obligations shall not apply to defects caused by ordinary wear and tear, insufficient maintenance or improper operation or use.

This warranty does not extend to any products; (a) that have been subject to misuse, neglect, abuse, improper storage, accident, or that have not been properly maintained; (b) that weight restrictions have not been adhered to; (c) that have been modified by any Third Party; (d) that have been disassembled, serviced, or reassembled by any third party; (e) that are improperly plumbed or installed, [plumbing or electrical work must be performed by licensed professionals or warranty is voided]; (f) that have damage caused by discoloration, fading, staining of vinyl or laminates; and (g) that have damage caused by accident, fire, lightning, acts of God or other hazards outside of Takara Belmont’s control.
