RICHE Eyelash Chair

When administering services to something as delicate as the eye, it’s important to be comfortable not only for luxury’s sake, but safety. Developed with extensive research into the beauty, ophthalmology, and other medical fields, the Riche is designed to create the best experience for both the stylist and customer.

One of the most basic but important advantages of the Riche is that the chair, stool, and wagon are created in sync with each other, giving the stylist a clear sightline for the entire treatment, and the customer the least amount of adjusting. The chair is angled at a five-degree incline, developed out of research indicating that this is the best possible angle for eyelash services. With a contoured head pillow and webbing technology, the customer is made to feel like they’re in a hammock, leading to less squirming, fidgeting, and jerking. Not only is it luxurious, but it also lets stylists more easily administer services on a still customer. Practitioners are also provided with armrests that lock into two positions, sustaining their comfort throughout the procedure.

Beyond the chair are a stool and wagon that work to create the most efficient system possible for these services. The stylist stool has a large seat, designed to evenly disperse body pressure, which allows for the stylist to sit for long stretches of time. The wagon can elevate and spin, letting practitioners access their tools without disrupting their services. With such comfort and ease of usability, additional services like eyebrow shaping, make-up, facial treatments, manicure can all be provided in the same chair. The single-acting leg rest allows pedicure and foot care services as well. The Riche proves itself as the ultimate ecosystem for these services.

Legend Barber Chair

SOMERSET, NJ – In one of their most innovative product releases yet, Takara Belmont’s Legend Chair is ushering in a new wave of electronic barber chairs.

With a proud Men’s Grooming lineage on display, the Legend stands out at the most iconic chair on the market. While some barbershops cater to the vintage feel, the Legend considers the modern man, thrusting men’s grooming forward into a new direction with its cutting edge technology.

With extensive research and years of product development experience, it’s evident that The Legend has simply thought of everything when it comes to satisfying its customers. Boasting features like custom designed leather, a groundbreaking headrest, and a nearly fully horizontal recline, the Legend chair proves itself as a game-changer for both customers and barbers.

Customers can finally sit in luxury for the length of their appointment – regardless of how long it may be. The Legend’s full-flat leg system keeps their whole body relaxed. With their body pressure more evenly dispersed, they may not even realize their head is leaning against a shampoo bowl to start with.

Barbers and customers alike will enjoy the smooth action of the chair, as it seamlessly switches positions when turning or elevating thanks to its shock absorption technology. They can also take advantage of the add-on service tables, letting customers set their drink down and barbers conveniently rest their tools.

Barbers can also take advantage of the light-up preset options, which save the positioning of their preferred settings at the touch of a button. The auto recline feature allows the chair to return to it’s upright position in a snap as well. These features are accessible on both sides of the chair for convenience, and even light up so that they can be utilized even with a cape hanging over them. Its removable footplate also allows barbers to more easily cater to the handicapped and elderly, who can step into the chair with ease.

“Perhaps the greatest mark of this chair isn’t even on the chair itself.” Steve Hughes, Takara Belmont’s National Sales Manager says “Because this chair is so comfortable, smooth, and stable, it actually expands a barber’s service menu. It’s such a revolutionary chair that one of it’s key features isn’t even on the physical chair itself, and that’s an exciting product for us to release.”

The Legend barber chair is available in two types: Standard and Full-flat. The Standard model is approximately 287 lbs. with seated dimensions measuring 36” H x 29” W x 41” D and an inner arm-to-arm width of 19 inches. Similarly, the Full-flat model is approximately 286 lbs. with dimensions measuring 36” H x 29” W x 42” D.

Odin Shampoo Unit

SOMERSET, NJ – Takara Belmont released the new Odin backwash unit, which offers new or current salon owners a value-focused equipment solution that brings the comforts of a tilting shampoo bowl, contoured seat cushions, and wide seating space to clients.

“Based on customer feedback, we aimed to tackle a challenge to create a value line that is robust, comfortable and stylish,” said Daisuke Nakamura, Product Manager of Takara Belmont USA, Inc. “the result is a series that features a new shampoo unit paired with an existing and proven styling chair that checks all of those boxes.”

With up to four inches of high-density foam, the backwash seat has a striking balance of plush comfort and solid support. The ergonomic design of the unit incorporates a curved backrest style and a shallow seat depression of 2.5 degrees to gently support and cradle the customer. The backwash also provides a wide 19.7” arm-to-arm width and a 20 degree tilting white bowl to comfortably accommodate a large range of clients.

Available in Grade I & II vinyl or in standard black upholstery with a black body and a white bowl, the Odin backwash unit weighs approximately 88 lbs. with a front-to-back space requirement of at least 102.4” for optimal installation. The backwash dimensions stand in at a space-conscious 23.7” width, 49.6” depth and a variable height range of 36.2-38.6” due to the tilting bowl.

SOMERSET, NJ – Takara Belmont announced the release of the Americana Series, a seating lineup that features three unique chair designs each complete with styling, reception, all-purpose, dryer, and backwash variations.

“We set out with a simple goal to develop a line of seating equipment to fit all areas of a salon or spa,” said Steve Hughes, National Sales Manager of Takara Belmont USA. “The result is an impressive suite of versatile, comfortable and stylish chairs that perform as well as they look.”

The Americana Series styling chairs were created from a concept of urban sophistication and comfort that is natural, wide and open. All of the chairs in the series – the Virtus, Bellus, and Novo – provide ample seating room for clients to relax and enjoy a service experience.

“Breadth of styles brings a wider, more functional offering,” said Michelle Koster, National Sales Coordinator of Takara Belmont USA. “The series allows designers to coordinate the design of multiple service areas for an elegant and sophisticated decor.”

With a distinguished square style, chic color combinations, and a stately presence, the Virtus styling chair is an ideal match for male grooming salons and unisex salons alike. It features an ultra-comfortable seat structure, ergonomically refined design, and a 21.5” arm-to-arm seat width for maximum service comfort. The solidly built styling chair is available in two-tone or monotone color variations to accommodate a wider range of design concepts.

The Bellus styling chair brings an air of refinement to salons or spas through a seating solution that truly shines. Gentle contours, a plush seat, and a sweetheart design add an opulent look and feel to each chair. It features a 21.5” arm-to-arm seat width, ultra-plush cushions, and monotone color selections. Clients will appreciate the stunning style and exceptional comfort of the Bellus chair as they enjoy a relaxing, bliss-filled service experience.

Novo chairs carry a modern appeal with a sophisticated and exquisite sense of style. Vivacious curves and an expansive 22.0” seating width cradle clients in comfort, while luxurious foam padding and a lavish balance of graduated support enhances a service experience. The open-concept deign adds a light and airy look, and it also makes cleanups between services a breeze.

Available in Grade I & II vinyl or in standard black upholstery, the Americana Series styling chairs include a standard B1A round style base, 217 U-shaped footrest, and plastic chair cover. Optional footrest upgrades are available such as the 317 or G90 footrest selections. Customers may also choose from a complete list of compatible hydraulic or electric base upgrades for an enhanced styling experience. Americana backwash units will be available by the end of Spring 2016.

Duet Styling Chair

SOMERSET, NJ – Takara Belmont released the new Duet Styling Chair which features a removable lumbar support cushion that doubles as a booster seat, steel reinforced back supports for added durability and an expanded seat area to accommodate a variety of clientele.

“We strive to offer the beauty industry new, quality and cutting edge products that can set new standards for salon equipment,” said Kent Iwasaki, Director and Vice President of Takara Belmont USA, Inc. “and the Duet Styling Chair accomplishes the goal by combining form, function and style.”

The Duet Styling Chair is designed with a unique folding lumbar support that can be swiftly converted into a children’s booster seat. The support cushion is attached by industrial strength fasteners for quick and efficient removal and cleaning between client services. It is available for upgrade as an accent panel, which can be upholstered in the same vinyl color options as the main body of the styling chair: Standard Black, KP2 Dark Brown, or Grade 1 and 2 vinyl upholstery options.

“It’s truly a high quality styling chair fit for our Takara Belmont grade-A product classification,” said Eiichi Ikezaki, Product Designer at Takara Belmont Corporation in Japan. “Great dimensions, plush cushions, sleek design aesthetic, and an innovative lumbar cushion fully completes the package.”

The durable, stylish and comfortable chair weighs approximately 44 lbs. with a standard X5C five-star chair base, plastic backrest cover and a 217 footrest options. Alternative upgrade options include a 317 or Euro style footrest for a customized look and feel. The Duet Styling Chair features a 20-inch inside arm-to-arm width, 34.8” height on an X5C base, 24.5” overall chair width, and a 22.9” overall chair depth.
