A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows draws natural light into the space and allows a clear view of the action from on-lookers. The treatment area is dimly lit for optimum relaxation, which is outfitted with the RS Luxis backwash units. Nestled between the shampoo and styling service areas, sits an unassuming color processing bar with wall-mounted Roller Ball F processors to maximize the overall workflow and floorplan.
L’evation Salon – Livermore, CA – Welcomed into a well-defined reception area of this 3,000 sq. ft. salon, guests are led into an expansive 17-styling station and color processing area. The space features floor-to-ceiling windows for an abundance of natural light and an incredible view. It’s outfitted with custom back-to-back stations, Knoll styling chairs, and wall-mounted Roller Ball F processors.
With sophisticated stylings and elevated equipment, L’evation reimagined the entire space from the inside out. The salon distinguishes individual areas for high-end esthetic and shampoo services. Its shampoo service space is supported by custom storage solutions and it is equipped with luxurious YUME Espoir units, which creates a relaxing oasis for shampoo and head spa services.
Highbrow Hippie, Venice, CA – To retrofit an existing space, Highbrow Hippie carefully considered each item within the 1,980 sq. ft. salon. Each item was intentionally selected to minimize clutter and maximize outcomes. With an abundance of fresh air and natural light, the salon opted for Knoll styling chairs and Luxis backwash units in beige tones to compliment its fresh and natural vibes.
Steele Barber + Spa, Seattle, WA – Inspired by the historic 1905 building, Steele uncovered high cross beam ceilings and accentuated its character with overhead track lighting. Guests are greeted by the unique stylings of diamond stitched BB-225 chairs, and the strong branding of Steele Barber + Spa. The space uses gorgeous wood endgrain floors and elements of cold rolled steel plate floors down the center, creating a literal Steele Runway.
b.LUXE Hair and Makeup Studio, Medway, MA– Reimagining the space, b.LUXE introduced Knoll styling chairs as a staple element to the styling area. It uses two-sided reception desks to accommodate two clients at a time, and maintain social distancing. Behind the front desk, b.LUXE added a media wall to catch and bounce sunlight, creating a flattering backdrop for our social media images. The décor eliminated one of the planned treatment rooms in an earlier design, opting for a private service space for our high-clientele or those receiving chemical services.
